Dr. Hadi Akhlaqi, CEO, Dr. Sharifian, board of directors’ vice chairman, and managers and vice presidents of Tejarat Bank visited the production process as Sabalan petrochemicals complex and discussed various issues in a meeting with Sabalan’s CEO, board of directors, and managers.
Sabalan Petrochemicals’ CEO welcomed the guests and presented a report on this methanol plant’s status and its market share in Iran and worldwide.
Engineer Karimi affirmed the crucial role of prominent banks such as Tejarat in the petrochemicals industry and requested the expansion of cooperation and interaction between the firm and Tejarat Bank given the bank’s significant position within the banking system, its financial and credit capacities, and its exceptional history in supporting national programs and firms operating in the field of oil, gas, and petrochemicals.
While accentuating the mutual cooperation between Sabalan Petrochemicals and Tejarat Bank in terms of granting foreign and national currency and facilities, opening and discounting letters of credit, personnel facilities payment, and financing the ongoing projects with Tejarat Bank, Engineer Reza Karimi proposed the signage of a memorandum of understanding in this regard considering the records on the excellent cooperation between the two parties since the initiation of the project.
Further, CEO of Tejarat Bank expressed his appreciation of Sabalan for their timely execution and operation and discussed how this bank has always stayed by the petrochemicals industry: “We will keep supporting the value-creating industry of petrochemicals as we believe this support will lead to the growth of national economy and production”. In this regard, Tejarat Bank’s CEO declared the bank’s preparedness to sign a memorandum of understanding and expand the cooperation in all aspects.
Dr. Akhlaqi emphasized: “We ae prepared for any cooperation and support. This is the role we have defined for ourselves at Tejarat Bank, and the support given to the national petrochemicals industry and our active presence in Asalouyeh region reveals our determination in supporting the petrochemical firms in the region, especially Sabalan.
